Hi, I'm Blake!
I started working at a tree lot called "Charlies Christmas Trees" in Dana Point at about age 14. Old Charlie had been growing and selling his own trees before time began. He Showed me the ropes for my first 8 years or so and I looked forward to every year!
I worked with great friends, Chris Shumway, Andrew M., Cullen Mckeown,and more! Charlie married Faith a few years into working for him and it got better and better. She fed me Breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- all day! If you know me, I eat more than most anybody.
He sold out all his trees in 2003...even had to buy tree's for his last year from another grower. A few years after that he passed away.
I continued to work every year after that nearby with a few other tree lot's. It's never been the same. I still keep in touch with Faith!
Fast forward to 2011, I flew up to Oregon and Washington. There I met up with a few growers, ordered some trees and got my very own lot!
